I love nature from my front porch, but about the time I actually try to get out in it, especially in the summer time here, I end up so eaten up by mosquitoes that it's not even worth it. End up itching for weeks.

Bugs in general don't bother me as much, as long as they aren't poisonous, but I definitely prefer a "you don't bother me, I won't bother you" approach. If they get too close I'm likely to move them, or kill them if necessary. I decided that was a great idea (and it really kind of is, still; I love my trees) so I went out and found a nice tree and snuggled right up with it and was feeling very connected and rooted into the earth when the ants that were crawling all over the trunk of the tree decided to "merge" with my hair. Not exactly the relaxing grounding experience I was looking for.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11072099143930915415noreply@blogger.com
